Anna Ramos, Chief Operating Officer with the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board

Founded in 1999 as the successor to the Lancaster County Private Industry Council, the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board (LCWDB) is authorized through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014 to be the lead Lancaster County’s workforce planning. LCWDB does this by providing business with locally-validated labor market information and coordinating services that meet the workforce needs of both businesses and the public alike.

Among our many initiatives, the LCWDB administers funds and oversight of PA CareerLink(R) Lancaster County, a comprehensive job center for Lancaster City and County residents.
