Rotary District 5180 Speech Contest - 2024
The theme for the 2024 Speech Contest is
"Create Hope in the World"
Point West Rotary welcomes contestants from Encina High and West Campus
- Contestants must be high school students in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12.
- Students being homeschooled or in a program recognized by their school district or the State of California are allowed to enter the speech contest.
- A student may compete in only ONE Rotary District 5180 Club Speech Contest.
- Any prior year’s winner at any level may compete again at the club level, as long as they are otherwise eligible, and advance to the next level if they win.
- The speech must be at least 5 minutes, but not more than 8 minutes in length.
Contestants that win the club contest will present their speech at the Regional Level. If successful there,
the contestant will move on to compete at the District Level, which will occur at the District Conference in May, 2024 at the Grand Sierra Resort
