Jim O. assisted by Sue C. auctioned off items with great skill- even as they bid on items themselves. Sixty items were up for bidding and the person with the most bids: Evelyn!

Liz & Kevin Stevens graciously opened their home to the club members, their family and friends on Thursday January 5th for a wonderful evening of fellowship. Judy Klein & Pam Hess were committee members assisting with the event. Buffet hot foods of Korean Meatballs, chicken satay with peanut sauce, mini-crab cakes with aioli, stuffed mushrooms, jalapeƱo poppers, rice balls, vegetable spring rolls & a broccoli medley. A cold shrimp platter, salmon vol au vent, and a minted melon & cucumber salad were also on the buffet. A sumptuous dessert table with macarons, cookies, cakes and candies was also available. The beverages were "Bring Your Own Bottle."
The elegant candlelit atmosphere was enhanced by the live music duo of pianist, Jim West & his brother on bass, as well violinist Arnold Etelson.
The Stevens' are certainly the host & hostess with great charm and their home had a great flow for the many members that attended. The evening was a fun and relaxing way to start 2023!
