Suffern Rotarians are ready to serve their community in many ways. We are fortunate to have a partnership with our local Good Samaritan Hospital to bring a blood drive which is convenient to blood donors.  The American Red Cross Blood Bank set up in the auditorium of Good Samaritan and collected 31 units of blood. The American Red Cross has an app that donors can download and receive information about their blood chemistry as well as notification of where their blood has been delivered and when it is used. The gratification of the blood donor is constant and the need for fresh blood is also constant.  Suffern Rotary will work with Good Samaritan Hospital and the American Red Cross Blood Bank to provide more frequent local blood drives to help meet the need for fresh blood.
