Suffern Rotary Club Presents a Night of Food and Music to Benefit Suffern High School Scholarship Fund”

Suffern, NY, October 6, 2011: The Suffern Rotary Club is the principal contributor to Suffern High School scholarships, and one of their largest fundraisers is coming up soon.  Their “38th Annual Spaghetti Dinner” will take place Thursday, October 27th at Suffern High School (Viola Road, Suffern, NY) from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.  Tickets are $10.

For 2011, Suffern Rotary paid over $17,500 to worthy seniors within the Ramapo Central School District (RCSD), and since the Rotary fund’s inception, it has awarded nearly $200,000 all to benefit Suffern High School. Every ticket purchased will be donated to the scholarship fund.

Attendees will enjoy an evening of casual dining and live entertainment.  Student ensembles and soloists for Suffern High’s Music Department will be performing.  All are invited to attend for an hour, or stay for all three.  There will be several seatings to accommodate sporting events, commuting schedules and meetings that normally impact a weeknight.

Founded in 1927, the Suffern Rotary Club has a long history of supporting the community with good works and fundraising.  Their intention is “Service Above Self” with a focus on local small business, education and fellow nonprofits, while still giving generously of their time and finances to back international initiatives.  The club meets every Thursday at 12:15PM at Marcello’s Ristorante of Suffern
