Founded in 1927, the Rotary Club of Suffern, New York has a long history of supporting the community.  Whether it has been supplying blood-drawing lounges for Good Samaritan Hospital, delivering Meals-on-Wheels, providing healthy weekend snacks to needy elementary school students to weekly collections for a local soup kitchen, our club members are always willing to step-up and help our community.

Located 31 miles northwest of Manhattan in the western part of Rockland County bordering New Jersey's Bergen County, Suffern is the home of The Salvation Army Officers' Training School  and Good Samaritan Hospital. It is also known as the Gateway to the Hudson Valley National Heritage Area with a history connected to the American Revolutionary War. The village has a marker for the Rochambeau Encampment at Lafayette and Washington Avenues.
