OUR PRESIDENT-ELECT:
KATHY MARRYAT
As announced at last week's meeting, we are happy to announce that Kathy Marryat is our President-Elect!
She will serve in that role during our 2027-2028 Rotary year.
Kathy is a seasoned business executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large global teams in financial services. At American Express, she held leadership roles in product management, marketing, and digital strategy, ultimately leading the company's global centralized digital organization.
Today, Kathy is an executive coach working with leaders from a wide range of companies from start-ups to large corporations, supporting them through business challenges.
Since moving to her home in upstate New York, Kathy has been an active community volunteer, supporting local organizations and social initiatives. She was a volunteer for Rhinebeck Responds, participated as a member of the communications team for the development of the Rhinebeck Village Comprehensive Plan, and currently serves as the Membership Chair of Rhinebeck Rotary.
Outside of work, Kathy is a passionate hiker. In 2022, she completed the entire 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail.

Grow your knowledge, skills and leadership to help our community respond to the climate crisis and build community resilience!
The RESTORE Leadership Academy is a free two-day immersion program for anyone wanting to take more informed action and leadership on climate change. Hosted by Sustainable Hudson Valley staff and brought to you by Rotary, the program consists of six 90-minute sessions over two Saturdays, culminating in a hands-on project at each of four currently planned locations (other locations coming in Fall 2026).
"It’s been quite a summer so far! Music continues to be what keeps us going in the face of, well, all of the things. This month we celebrate 45 married years and around 47 years of making music together. Whew!"

We are a group of seniors and family caregivers who like to socialize, laugh, and have fun.
Our events are all local and free —and planned around the interests of the participants.

The monthly Parkinson’s Support Group is a gathering place for those with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to create community and share information. The group will meet each month to offer a space for everyone to discuss their challenges and successes, share stories, connect with others who are navigating similar issues, and sift through medical information and the latest news about available treatments. Refreshments and resources provided. Registration is not required.
