2010 Rotary Golf Tourney
With an amazing and somewhat completely unbelievable score of 34, the team of Jane Groves, Erin Beresfod, Glen Godovitz and Todd Young captured this year's trophy.
The weather man co-operated and we were blessed with a beautiful day. We had a great turnout and able to have 7 teams competing for the trophy. There was also a team prize for the lowest number of putts. Our marvellous official scorekeeper Walter had three teams tied at 12 putts but through retrogression or a little scotch bribe, the team of Lisa Doreleyers, Connie Gray, Kevin de Groot and Ross Gough were able to collect the prize.
Top scoring team came in at 34, followed by 36, 37, 38, 39 and two 40s. I would say the teams were quite evenly matched.
Dinner was fantastic. Main dish was roast beef and gravy, a potato casserole and rolls. The salads, appetizers and desserts were fantastic.
