Rotarian Jaya Bhattacharyya Travels to India to Present Check to Jagruti School for Blind Girls

 
Pearl River Rotarian, Jaya Bhattacharyya traveled to Pune, India where she presented a check on behalf of the Rotary Club of Pearl River to Executive Director, Ms. Sakina Bedi of the Jagruti School for Blind Girls. Ms. Bedi, herself is blind. The New City Rotary Club also supported the project and was represented by Jaya's husband. The mission of Rotary is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
