Interact will be a Pearl River Rotary-sponsored service club for young people.
An Interact club gives young people, mainly high school students, an opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful service projects. ... Interact Club is self-supporting and self-governing, thus encouraging the development of leadership skills.
There are more than 12,300 Interact clubs in 133 countries.
Tappan Zee, Nanuet, Suffern, North Rockland, and Clarkstown-South all have active clubs.
Typically, Interact clubs perform at least two projects a year, with one servicing the community and the other furthering international understanding.

The basic principle of the Rotary Interact is to help others. Our motto is “service above self”. Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, and advancing international understanding and goodwill.
The Pearl River High School Interact Club will start up in October 2018.
Mr. Brian Moore, social studies teacher, will be the club advisor.
The time and place of the first meeting will come from PRHS.
