Rotary Club of Sudbury

Sudbury’s first service Club, the Rotary Club of Sudbury has been serving the community since 1924. Since this time, many Rotarians have dedicated themselves to leaving a positive and lasting imprint on the community and world. Our Club was instrumental in early efforts to assist disabled children in the community, support the air cadets and the Victorian Order of Nurses. For many years our gates (on the Kingsway and Lorne Street) welcomed visitors to the community. Continuing this strong tradition, our Club remains involved in an impressive array of initiatives. We helped establish Easter Seals, the Alzheimer’s Society and Rotary Park in Sudbury. We support many organizations including the Sudbury Action Centre for Youth, Sudbury Food Bank and an orphanage in Kenya.
