Our Interact Club has been up and running for several years now and handle themselves very well. They have accomplished quite a bit over the years and are going strong this year with numerous projects.

They meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 2:55 p.m. in the Greenville High School.

The first Interact Club was initiated in 1962 by the Rotary Club in Melborne, Florida.  Today there are more than 9000 clubs in over 110 countries with an estimated membership of 200,000 youth worldwide.

Recent projects completed by the Greenville Interact Club: set up trees in Veterans Park,  served refreshments to parents and kiddies  during Santa's visit, collected "Coats for Kids" and blankets that were distributed to the Women's Shelter in Catskill,  collected unused Cell Phones for Soldiers, and sold Carnations for Valentines Day with proceeds to benefit water wells in *Haiti.  (*Each year, the club must complete an International project along with other local projects.)
