Peoria North Rotary Club showed support for the Prescott Frontier Rotary Club's community service project collecting food and cleaning items for citizens living on the Navajo Nation by making a donation during an event held June 7 in Prescott.
Member Bret McKeand traveled to Prescott and donated non-perishable food items, cleaning products, paper towels and toilet paper. Assistant Governor Lou Rotundo, a member of The Rotary Club of Sun City West, also contributed items donated by the club.
The Prescott Frontier Rotary Club filled two 20-foot rental trucks with donated food and cleaning supplies during a collection drive held Jun3 5-7. Club members transported the trucks to the Navajo Nation on June 8.
