Our good friend and former PNRC member George Wheeler was recognized during a charter celebration for the new Rotary Club of Surprise Sunset held April 2 at The Colonnade. George is a founding member of PNRC and a Past District Governor. The new president of the Rotary Club of Surprise Sunset, Kathy Linton (holding the banner) found the "PDG home club banner" while searching through the archives of the Sun City West Rotary Club. She surprised George during the charter celebration by presenting the banner to him.
