Several members of the Rotary Club of Peoria North attended the annual district conference held May 18-20 in Laughlin, Nev. This year's conference was the last -- as the conference will merge with District 5510 in June to become the new, combined District 5495 in July. This year's conference celebrated the past and future -- and was highlighted by a "Parade of Past District Governors" during the Saturday night Gala, which featured the club's George Wheeler. George served as District Governor in 1999-2000 and was instrumental in overseeing and guiding the merger of the two districts. Peoria North members attending the conference were, from left, standing, Ken Parsons, Rebecca Wilks, George and Willi Wheeler and Bret McKeand. Sitting, from left, Fran Parsons, Sandi and Terry Brown. For more photos of the conference, visit the 2017 District Conference photo album. Click here.
