Mental Health of Students in the Cherry Creek Schools

This meeting is at the Madden Museum 6363 South Fiddlers Green Circle, Greenwood Village, CO 

Dr. Ron Lee received his bachelors degree at Tufts University and his doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Denver. He has worked in public schools for 26 years as a school psychologist and more recently as a district administrator.  Dr. Lee is currently the Director of Mental Health in Cherry Creek Schools. His duties include the hiring, evaluation, and professional development of psychologists and social worker staff in schools. He is also a district leader in the areas of school safety and crisis response. 

Lee will give an overview of the current prevalence and challenges of mental health issues for students in Cherry Creek Schools. He will give a brief summary of risk data related to student behaviors of concern, and how the school district goes about addressing and supporting these issues.
