DESCRIPTION:October Hike – Waterton Canyon Please join us on Wednesday\, 
 October 21st at 9:00 for a fall hike in Waterton Canyon.  We should hav
 e some Autumn color to enjoy by then.  This is an easy hike along a wide
  dirt and gravel road which follows the South Platte River.  Big Horn Sh
 eep and Mule Deer frequent the canyon\, but dogs are not allowed.   The
  road leads approximately 6 miles to the Strontia Springs Reservoir but yo
 u can hike as far as you choose.  This is also the beginning of the Colo
 rado Trail.  There are bathrooms along the way.   There is a large\, f
 ree dirt/gravel parling lot on hte east side of Waterton Road and the trai
