Our weekly meeting had the benefit of an intriguing and interesting guest speaker whose topic was near and dear to us all -- agriculture and food. Tony Ambler (pictured) is noted for being the President of Swish Maintenance. However, he and his wife Victoria have embarked on a new venture, Yorkshire Valley Farms which specializes in organic chicken produce. His presentation was a fascinating outline of the trials and triumphs of beginning a new business and the state of world agriculture and food production in general. A reminder: the meeting of May 16 will be off-site at The Venue on George Street and our host and owner of the Venue, Mike Skinner, will be our guest speaker.
