Weekly Meeting of January 30, 2012 -- Join the Purple Pinkie Project

Our weekly meeting was the occasion for our yearly update from our Provincial MPP Jeff Leal on developments and ongoing initiatives at Queen's Park. We were also urged to get involved in the Purple Pinkie Project to help Rotary International achieve its goal of eradicating polio from all countries. Each innoculated child in the developing world has his or her pinkie dyed purple on immunization day and local Rotarians will be selling paper Purple Pinkies at Lansdowne Place.
