The Future of Trent University, Our Weekly Meeting of October 15, 2012

Our guest speaker was Steven Franklin (pictured), President and Vice Chancellor of Trent University, a position he assumed in September 2009. The theme of President Franklin’s talk was Building on the Past, Building for the Future and he gave us an excellent presentation on the strengths that Trent has to move confidently into the future, and the challenges facing the university. Trent has a 5 year program to prepare for the future and includes a number of new programs being developed in the Schools of Environment and Health Sciences.
