At today's meeting we were treated to a presentation by Rotarian Marie Press who gave us an update on the activities of the International Service Committee, including its two trips to Honduras.  After the presentation members were asked to volunteer to assist in the Rotary Helping Women Project which is producing menstrual supplies for Honduran women. Sue Sharp  brought all of the supplies for making the menstrual kits and set us to work with some people tracing patterns on to fabric, two tables of volunteers cutting patterns, and a small group assembling the kits. Sue expressed many thanks for such a positive response to this project "given that it helps women in a personal way that we don't often discuss.  But the problem is real and you helped many women today!
