Another very successful Fireworks event was held as scheduled on Saturday May 22. This event is organized by The Rotary Clubs of Peterborough & Peterborough-Kawartha. From our club Rotarian Steve Kylie was again the co chair & Rotarian Melissa Doyle was in charge of organizing volunteers. From 6-9:30 pm there were many play stations set up,including a 9 hole minature golf course, large tricycle racing, a haunted house, a huge slide, bouncing,jousting, & face painting. Free ice cream bars courtesy of the Scates family of Central Smith Dairy were enjoyed by participants including 450 students from this week's Canadian Science Fair. A 50-50 draw was held with he winner receiving $750. The fireworks once again were spectacular. Go to Photos for more details of the evening.
