Once again the Rotary Club of Peterborough supervised the parking for visitors attending The 2016 Garden Show at The Evinrude Centre April 8 - 10. John Thomas and his committee scheduled Rotarians to direct traffic at The Evinrude Centre and Canoe Museum parking lots. Rotarians asked for a $2 donation from each driver to assist them in finding a parking space. John announced at the April 11 meeting that we had collected over $4200. which will be used to help cover the cost of hosting our Exchange Students. Our thanks to John for all the time and energy he puts into making this a successful fundraiser. John was on site for every shift, provided 2 way way radios and orange T-shirts to the attendants and counted the buckets of twonies collected.
