Rotary and The Royals for Habitat For Humanity

 

The Peterborough Rotary Club has committed at least $100,000 as well as mentors and volunteers for the first 5 Habitat for Youth Project homes and on July 28, 2016 we were honoured by a special reception with Peter and Autumn Phillips, the royal patrons of the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, at the boathouse of Lakefield College.  On the left President Bruce Gravel and his wife Frances (centre) are pictured with Philip and Autumn. On the right President Bruce, Assistant District Governor Rick Storey and District Governor Margaret Walton are seen at the sod turning for the new Habitat home in Warsaw, with a sign noting our Club's partnership with Habitat for Youth Program.
