Meeting of April 5, 2010

The club welcomed its newest member Ken Tremblay, the new CEO of the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.  Our guest speaker, Syd Birrell (pictured), did double duty as a speaker and as the fill-in piano player who guided us through Oh Canada and Happy Birthday.  Mr. Birrell gave a moving and informative talk about his son James who tragically died of neuroblastoma and in whose memory the James Fund was established to raise funds for neuroblastoma research.
