A Visit from Our District Governor, the Weekly Meeting of October 17, 2016

Our Club was honoured by a visit from District Governor Margaret Walton of Bracebridge who brought us greetings and explained many of the projects in which Rotary International is involved. While in Peterborough she was taken on a tour of Rotary projects which included the most recent Habitat for Humanity build, the Rotary Greenway Trail, the Five Counties Children's Centre and the Rotary Education Centre at the Riverside Zoo. In the photo at top Margaret is seen with Rotarian Sarah Burke (L), executive director of Habitat for Humanity for Peterborough and the Kawarthas, and our President Bruce Gravel. In the bottom photo Margaret is pictured with Assistant District Governor Rick Storey of our Club and President Bruce.
