The Rotary Club of Maple Grove is so proud to be a sponsor of this marvelous organization and program that helps transform students into caring and compassionate leaders. This program has been going strong for 20 years with the support and direction of Tammie Epley, who founded this organization. Who would imagine that 5- Fifth graders from local elementary schools would collect funds to buy school supplies for children in Sasabe, Mexico a small community directly across the border from Arizona? These children cannot attend school without school supplies. They do not have access to general supplies due to the location of this small hamlet.
A group of adults and Rotary members travel to this area in April with the children to visit these children and celebrate the donation of supplies.
