The Rotary Club of Maple Grove rotarians have responded to the needs of the community with a request to sew masks for health professionals at Allina Health as well as for family members to be able to go to the store to get food supplies or to visit family members. Judy Johnson let us use the supplies she has and the use of her home.
Club members as well as family and friends have come out to cut the pattern, cut the various layers of materials and elastic needed. These are then packaged 20 to a bag. Others with sewing skils will then put these masks together and distribute them to where they are needed.
We have cut out over 700 masks at this time with more to come.
