Glenda Parkhurst, founder and executive director of Operation Empowering Hope, will tell us how her organization provides the supplies and assistance to help army chaplains in their counseling of soldiers to eliminate thoughts of suicide. Our heart is to provide tools for the Chaplains and Religious Specialists on bases with high suicide rates. These tools enable them to be a conduit of God's love and hope to the Soldiers before it is too late. |

By doing that, we inspire others to do the same. This creates a cycle of positivity wherever we are. The cycle starts somewhere: it starts with us. |

Join us for some fun and holiday cheer as we get together on Tuesday evening at Osseo-Maple Grove Legion Hall located at 260 4th Ave. SE in Osseo. at 5:30 p.m. Family members are welcome! We will have a visit from Santa so make sure you bring your grandkids. If anything, bring your list of what you want if you have been nice!. Members can order food and drinks from the bar. Instead of doing a white elephant we we will be adopting 2 Ukrainian families to help make their holiday brighter. We will be sending out information regarding buying gifts or donations to be made. Please register so that we have a headcount and can reserve an area large enough for club members and family. If you would like to help with setting up light decorations please sign up or contact Jennifer Borel. |

WHEN: 5:30-8:00 PM Tuesday, December 17th
WHERE: The Osseo American Legion
WHAT: The gathering is open to all club members, their families and guests. Food and beverages will be ordered and paid for directly through the Legion's staff. Dr. Bob's close personal friend, Santa, will also be joining us for the evening!
