The Penetanguishene Secondary School (PSS) Grade 12 Student for the month of November is Lauren Mavrou who was introduced by Mrs. Lee Moreau, Head of Student Services/Guidance at PSS.

The Ecole Secondaire LeCaron Student for the Month of November is Melanie Forget who was introduced to the Club by Music Teacher Una Brouillard.

Both students will also be recognized for their dedication and commitment to their academiC, sports and community minded achievements by MP for Simcoe North Bruce Stanton and MPP for Simcoe North Garfield Dunlop.

On November 19, 2013 the Rotary Club of Penetanguishene convened for their weekly meeting at  La Cle d'ia Baie in Penetanguishene http://www.lacle.ca/.

Club members mingled with the students and accompanying teachers over a hearty lunch prepared by E.L.M. Catering.

The Penetanguishene Secondary School (PSS) Grade 12 Student for the month of November is Lauren Mavrou who was introduced by Mrs. Lee Moreau, Head of Student Services/Guidance at PSS.  Mrs. Moreau spoke of Lauren as being a leader and an event organizer within the school for students of all grades to attend and participate in. Lauren is an Honour Student along with having membership on the Basketball, Volleyball, Nordic Ski Team's and Student's Council for four years and is currently the Co-President of the Council. She is considering to make application to several universities to take an Environmental or Recreation degree program after taking some time to get some work experience in Western Canada.

The Ecole Secondaire LeCaron Student for the Month of November is Melanie Forget who was introduced to the Club by Music Teacher Una Brouillard. Melanie is a Grade 12 Honour Student who possesses a very positive outgoing personality with aninfectious smile. She is very involved in her school by being the President of the Sports Committee, Chair of the Intramural School Games along with being a member of the girts Senior Volleyball Team.

Both students will also  be recognized for their dedication and commitment to their academic, sports and community minded achievements by MP for Simcoe North Bruce Stanton and MPP for Simcoe North Garfield Dunlop.

The Club thanked the teachers for introducing their very talented students to the club and wish the students well in their future endeavors.
