Carolyn Murphy took the responsibility of St John Brebeuf Parish in Niles Uncle Pete's Sandwich Ministry after Uncle Pete could no longer carry out the task of feeding and providing for the homeless.  Our Club’s Airline Surplus Project has supplied Carolyn’s mission with items since 2013 — blankets, pretzels, slippers, full amenity kits, ambassador kits, lotions, separated amenity items end empty amenity bags. Her outreach with our support has reached 14 different agencies within the greater Chicago area.  She has arranged the request with us, the trucks, the men to deliver the items, vetted the agencies and their needs, and has an on-going relationship with the agencies to evaluate their needs.
