*****Now is the time to start donating raffle and silent auction items for the Jack Frawley Memorial Golf Outing – Chicago O'Hare Rotary. This fundraiser is our biggest and best for scholarships for Leyden High Schools. Our Club expects every member to consider donating time, raffle items and support for this event. *****The Chicago Rotary Consortium is planning a Volunteer Opportunity for all nine of the Chicago Rotary Clubs at the Greater Chicago Food Depository on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:45 PM. The reservation has been made for 40 participants but you will need to sign up to be included. We are registered into two groups (they limit 20 per group) and you can sign-up for either. *****The Leyden Inspirational Eagle Award Dinner and Ceremony sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chicago O'Hare was held at East Leyden High School on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Students from Leyden High Schools were nominated, their families invited, and a school mentor was chosen to speak about the student's growth and success though unimaginable challenges. We thank Frank Holthouse who worked this year to make this an evening to remember for not only the students and parents, but also for our club. Thanks to our members John Kearns, Jack Ranttila, Frank Holthouse, Cruz Bernal-Albano, Pat Ranttila, Melissa Bulovatz, Glenn Spachman and Mike Sullivan who represented our Club in supporting these students.
