Congratulations to this year's Community Grant recipients: YMCA of Silicon Valley, Starting Arts on behalf of Bishop Elementary, Mayview Community Health Center, and Next Door Solutions!
 
Rotary Community Grants are made to local agencies that provide vital services to benefit the economically, developmentally, and/or physically disadvantaged citizens of Sunnyvale and are based on the availability of funds, the merit of the application, and the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Sunnyvale Rotary Club.
 
YMCA of Silicon Valley was granted $2,500. Funds will be used to serve additional children in the YMCA's summer learning loss program.

Starting Arts was granted $500. Funds will be used to help students who cannot afford to participate in the annual stage performance.

Mayview Community Health Center was granted $1,000. Funds will help with primary medical care to Medi-Cal, uninsured and low-income patients.

NextDoor Solutions to Domestic Violence was funded $2,500. Funds will help support groups for Spanish speakers and Kids Club programming at San Miguel Family Resource Center.
