AessenceGrows - A new Sunnyvale business story

AEssense (pronounced “eh-sense”) was founded on solving three 21st century issues: the need for high growth yields for a growing population, food safety, and conservation of resources.

To attain these goals, we had to re-invent the entire process of agriculture down to its purest “essence”. So we created the AEtrium series, a platform that would provide a purified plant growth environment devoid of outside factors. In doing so, we are able to produce the safest, cleanest, and most sustainable food on earth. Something that everyone deserves.

While technology in farming has advanced considerably in the last century, we believe our new growing technology is the next revolutionary jump in agriculture. With decreasing available resources and a human population fast approaching 9 billion, that same leap is what the world desperately needs. This is our solution. This is our revolution.

Jennifer Ong is Executive Vice President of AessenceGrows. 

Jennifer has responsibility for the daily operation of the company.  She has over 25 years of experience in high-tech business and engineering management. Prior to joining AEssense, Jennifer was an executive staff member in the CEO’s office at RAE Systems, leading special and strategic programs. Prior to joining RAE Systems, she was a Principal at Pittiglio Rabin Todd and McGrath. Jennifer holds a BSEE from Stanford University, an MSEE from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles.
