Sleep Like a Baby - Latest Research on Sleep & Aging

Please join us for a very informative talk entitled “Sleep like a baby: The latest research on sleep and aging.”  The presentation will be made by Donn Posner Ph.D., CBSM. Dr. Posner is currently an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine and a clinical research psychologist at the Palo Alto VA. He was formally a Clinical Associate Professor at the Brown Medical School where he was the Director of the Behavioral Medicine Sleep Disorders program of the Sleep Disorders Center for the last 24 years. In this presentation you will learn about the basics of good sleep, how sleep changes over the lifespan, the myths about sleep and aging and the pros and cons of various insomnia treatment methods.
