RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

The RYLA program is held worldwide involving young people who are chosen for their leadership potential to attend an all-expenses-paid seminar, camp, or workshop to discuss leadership skills and to learn those skills through practice. Rotary clubs and districts select participants and facilitate the event’s curriculum.   The RYLA program enables young people to debate issues of professional responsibility and human relations, improve leadership and communication skills, learn about businesses and institutions, and meet Rotarians while having fun and making friends. For young adults, RYLA provides the opportunity to refine skills and explore pertinent topics with their peers and elders. For Rotarians, RYLA offers the chance to help develop leaders, share valuable expertise, and bridge the gap between generations.

The 2017 RYLA MAUI PROGRAM

The 2017 RYLA Program on Maui is a 3-day RYLA Camp that will give interested sophomores and juniors, from Maui County high schools, a no-cost opportunity to participate in quality leadership training experiences and activities.  The curriculum will be led by dedicated Rotarians who will guide the attendees in understanding the principles of effective leadership.
