Editor's Notes

Hey Lunch guys!  What gives? One person needed, just to take a couple of notes about what's happening - you aren't being marked on this you know? Take notes and pass them along - all the heavy lifting is happening at this end!

At any rate...read on to find out what's happening at the cocktail meeting.  Email me if you want to find out what's involved in your end of writing the bulletin. Sandrad1@live.ca

Happy Bucks
Darlene was happy to have a new client referred by a fellow Rotarian

Dean had his usual eclectic group of emotions.  He was happy that it was his son's birthday; Proud that it was his real Rotary Anniversary this weekend and sad to note that Bob Segar is turning 73 on Sunday (yes Deane, we are all getting older!)

Scott was happy that he was not paid to be here - then had to explain his political humor

Terri was happy that Mark was not here; but I think that came out wrong and what she meant to say was she wished Mark were here to hear her happiness about his chivalry in finding her a real glass (and large) wine glass at the Washago Wild Game dinner. Since Washago ran out of wine, I need to ask Terri if she thinks her large glass was fair to all concerned?

Deena is happy that her renovations are almost complete and they will be listing their house!

Megan was happy that she built a shelter of significant magnitude with help from Bryan and Alan. It took 2 days and several dismantles and reinstallations before they got it right. She assures us that wine was not the culprit.

Alan had what I can only interpret as a complaining buck over the poor management and oversight of the erection of a shelter of significant magnitude. He had mixed emotions over the week of birthdays allowing celebration and great outlay of cash; and he's thrilled that the Port of Orillia will be opening on May 10.

Lynn is happy that both she and Alison are nominees for Business Woman of the Year; and that she was named the BNI Notable Networker of the Year. We are so lucky to be surrounded by greatness!

Paula is happy to be half way through her course and delighted that her daughter was selected to attend the Ontario Science Centre School for grade 12!

Sandra was happy that her month of purgatory (no sporting activities) was over and that the weather is now permitting mountain biking, trail running and golf!

Andrew was happy about Sandra's partner's (Joe's) Barbequed burgers.

Nancy was happy about her garbage picking experience and fellowship at the Langman's beautiful home.
