Dan Herbert - from the Washago club announced the beer tasting event on Oct 3 from 6-9pm, tickets are $15 there will be 4 local Brewers there.
Nancy Welton – if anyone would like to donate door prizes for Girls Night Out that would be very much appreciated
Nancy Amos – can we please have members support our GNO fundraiser by taking a couple of tickets to sell and getting the word out ?
Tony Telford – still need 4 people to help install the smoke detectors – there’s a meet at the end of the meeting if your interested
Tony Telford – All Candidates Meeting at the Highway Man in on Monday October 5th at noon hosted by the Kiwanis Club. NO TUESDAY MEETING ON THE 6th. Please let Nancy Welton know if you plan to attend as we need a numbers count by Friday Oct. 2nd.
Tony Telford – there is a Committee Chairs meeting at Fern Resort Sept 24 as well as a Girls Night Out meet (prior at 5:00)
-Our official Charter Night from the date of our charter in 1945 is Thursday November 12, we usually have a fun Night that is Christmas themed, do we want to have it on the actual night?
- Next Tuesday Sept 29 is Golf Day at Hawk Ridge after our lunch meeting from 2-4pm, see Carl if you would like to golf, the last tee time is 3:50pm
- October 24/15 is Rotary World Polio Day there will be a web cast @ 6:00 pm to watch and Tony will get a copy of it for us to watch at a meeting
Jayne Stewart – The Amazing Race a fundraiser for Victim Crisis Services is being held on October 3, this promises to be a fun day!!!! Get a team of
4 together at $25 each or raise $100 for the team to participate! See Frances for further info
Nancy Amos – Candy Potter from the Washago club is looking to create some interest in mixing up the members from our clubs for some socials, i.e. host dinners at members homes. She is looking to have a host/guest dinner Oct 22 and wonders if there is anyone interested in joining in, more info to follow…
