Happy Bucks
You all challenged me with all your Happiness!   I could not keep up!

Dean had so many visitors, his 2 kids, 3 grandkids, 3 brother in laws and to top it all off a University friend called to visit.   Dean loves his fresh green peas!

Mark was working hard putting boards on the dock.  Very Happy it is finished!   To relax a little he bought a sit down lawn mower from Marilyn, to make all that work a little easier.

Marilyn had her Mom visiting and since her stroke her Mom never thought she would swim again.   Guess what, with some floats, she was buoyant and paddling around.   Tool time Marilyn bought and installed an air conditioner.  After that it was time to rock on at Mariposa Festival all night long.

Sandra had her sister visiting from BC and after the meeting she was going out for dinner.   Always fun when your family is around.

Scott wore someones name badge (not sure if he was a male or female that day),  then to top that off he wore his name badge upside down and no one noticed.   Too funny!

Andrew convinced his wife to go camping with the kids.   His wife's first experience was terrible since the weather was horrible 4 years ago.  Thank goodness it was a beautiful weekend for them at Kilbear.
Otherwise that would have been the last time.   With kids it is always an adventure, his daughter set all the kindling on fire.   That's kids for you!

Speaker
Marilyn was are speaker this week. Marilyn spoke about the Rotary International in Toronto.

25,000 Rotary members attended.
There were Rotarians from around the world.

House of Firendship is all about vendors selling products, booths of Groups, causes and projects you can learn about.  Of course, not to forget there was Beer, Scotch and Wine tasting!
If you are looking for other rotarians to share an interest, there are fisherman, photographers, kayak, canoers and travel exchange groups.

Keynote speakers this year were Princess Anne and Justin Trudeau, who is the second largest supporter of polio.

There were many Breakout Sessions to learn about,  the future of Rotary, Polio updates, Technology & Rotary these were held at the Metro Convention Centre.

Plan ahead next year this event will be held in Germany.  Always in English.   Budget approx. $1600.00 Air, Registration $395.00 plus Hotel/Air B&B, do not forget you will be eating and drinking!

Thanks Marilyn, for some inspiring information from the Rotary International Convention.
Just for Fun!
Sarah Jane got us all out of seats playing get to know each other BINGO!
Paula won the Trophy that I am sure will get passed down to the next Bingo winner.
Very interactive and good for a few laughs!
