SARGE today was Greg Parker
First off , as usual , was Ralph because he had passed his scheduled sarge job off to Greg. Then there was the birthday table , followed by Neil $3. ( cause he doesn't sweat the small stuff) for winning first in 50/50 Second is still a mystery to your editor but Brian was fined because he lost Greg's ticket somehow and Greg figured it was probably the real winner. Greg could not help noticing when he first arrived and as usual went straight to the lunch buffet was distressed that there were a lot of people ahead of him and most distressing was that some Rotarians were lined up ahead of today's guests. Those whom he could not name other than Tony A. were fined. Angelo Orsi who was here to see his daughter awarded student of the month was fined just for being himself and Ralph who suggested Angelo's fine got fined himself for a second time for his effort.
Happy Bucks
New Chuck, that's Tempest not Beeton was happy to be back here at his old Rotary club and to be welcomed so warmly. Don Whitfield ,although truly inspired by Tony's story is happy that his own blood transfusion was a smooth operation. Bill Darker was happy to report the occasion of attending his granddaughters graduation from University. Old Chuck , that's Beeton not Tempest, is happy to say that he will soon be attending his grandson's graduation as a CPA. Greg proudly shared that his daughter who is a very talented tennis player and who may be taking a tennis scholarship at a US university has just competed in all Ontario Tennis completion and earned second overall. Chad Ingram informed us how pleased he was to have witnessed recently at a missions in Africa presentation a very prominent Rotary Wheel Emblem being displayed beside the Salvation Army Shield . Tony was of course happy to have made the trip to Rotary International Conference in Korea and looks forward to telling us more about it at a future meeting.
