Orillia Santa Claus Parade- Saturday, November 22
This year’s float will have the theme of “80 years of giving”, featuring gift boxes and club members dressed as toys walking along the float. If you can help out by walking with the float, contact Dale or Tony.
There will be a float decorating session on Wednesday, November 19 at Orser Technical on Harvie Settlement Road. It will be indoors and will start at 5:00 p.m.Thanks to Tony for spearheading!
If you signed up to volunteer with parade marshalling with the Orillia & District Chamber of Commerce, note that parade staging will take place at the e-Capital building on West Street South (next to Home Hardware). The Chamber’s events coordinator Justin will be emailing volunteer instructions and you can reach him at events@orillia.com.
Christmas Tree Decorating at Quayle’s Brewery- Thursday, November 27. A fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season! We’ll be decorating a tree in support of Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, and then heading inside the Brewey where food and beverage will be available for purchase. >>note there will not be a regular meeting on Tuesday
