Editor's Notes

Sorry for the delay this week.  Not that I'm one to point fingers, but.. Tony's computer skills kept him from getting this information to the editor in a timely manner.  I believe a fine is in order!
Welcome New  and Visiting Rotarians
The lunch group enjoyed a visit from Peter Gill and Jack Nolan.

The cocktail group were being checked out by Sandra and Jessica and were all on their best behaviour.

The cocktail group had visits from some of the regular lunch crew, but we don't announce them because, let's face it, they're family!

Club Announcements
PITCH IN - We will be cleaning up Rotary Place on April 26th at 5:00 pm followed by beer and pizza at Doug and Jane's.

Lobsterfest tickets are selling very quickly. If you want them, don't delay or they may not be available. Still looking for assistance!  Please see Cliff if you can help.

The Train will open the weekend before Canada Day! Let summer begin! The train committee will be meeting immediately following the lunch and cocktail meetings.

AquaTheatre - we've gotten some great coverage on this!  Allison Braun has agreed to chair the committee and Brian Bondy will co-chair.  Lots of non-Rotary people will also participate - should be a great group to get things organized.  Check in with Allison, Brian or Allan if you want to be involved.

Fines from the Cocktail Group
Terri, wisely fined Deane for having a fanny pack! However, because Deane had left his Fanny Pack at home today, he didn't have his cash stash with him.  Deane, better bring that bad boy along next time!
Afternoon delight
Here are the things members of our club were delighted about this afternoon.  (Wait...what did you think I meant?)

Randy  went to a 70th anniversary!
Mario just returned from a Golf Vacation with Vennard and Dixon
Marilyn Back from an escape vacation
Nicole Going on a vacation
Laura on a countdown to a vacation
Sheese! What is going on?!?!

GREG IS ON PERMANENT VACATION!!!
Sandra lost half the happy bucks notes but here's what she kept or remembered:
Deane was happy, sad, confused or something because while he remembered to leave his small pocket knife home while he was going through airport security to visit his kids/grandkid out west, he later discovered his Crocodile Dundee style knife in his (wait for it folks!) Fanny Pack.
Then he had the audacity to offer a comment about Mark's socks.

Deana was happy that her bathroom is half way completed and her kitchen counter arrived

Tony thought that bathrooms needed an adult sized change table (seriously folks, that's what I wrote - no idea what it means!)
He was also happy about a lecture he gave at Lakehead and the play Come from Away (tickets or attendance - not sure which)

Andrew's daughter is 3
Mark explained Happy bucks to our guests - Sandra and Jessica

Scott defended Deane's fanny pack but was glad he stopped wearing spanx
