From co-editor Tony:  Can someone help out?

WE HAVE RUN INTO A PROBLEM, I COMMITTED TO DO THE BULLETIN FOR 6 MONTHS. WE ARE NOW INTO MONTH 4 AND CHANGES AT WORK HAVE FORCED ME TO STEP AWAY FROM IT FOR A WHILE. IT IS NOT FAIR TO SEND THIS TO SANDRA AT 10PM AT NIGHT ON THE DAY BEFORE THE NEXT MEETING. I APOLGIZE SANDRA. I HOPE SOMEONE WILL STEP UP TAKE THE TORCH!*

Welcome New  and Visiting Rotarians

Welcome as well to Kevin Healey, a former club member (2004!) who is now able to return to the fold.  He's checking out both the lunch and cocktail group.

Welcome to our guest speakers Brandon Peacock and Taylor Bazinet.

Welcome back to Allison and Heather!  We've missed you and are glad to see your smiling faces!
Birthdays and Anniversaries

Happy Birthday to Cliff's wife Patricia

Club Announcements
Busy week for Rotarians next week!

On Tuesday we will have a Fireside meeting (a club information and discussions session) at 5:30 pm at the Best Western.  Finger food will be served.  This meeting will replace the regular cocktail meeting and the lunch group will join us.  People are welcome to meet up in the bar at 5 or 5:30 as usual.

PITCH IN - We will be cleaning up Rotary Place on April 26th at 5:00 pm followed by beer and pizza at Doug and Jane's. We are hoping that enough snow has melted to enable us to see and pick up garbage! Bill Shaw has dropped the gauntlet and challenged the lunch group to match the cocktail group's attendance.

Watch for a message about the Go Fund Me campaign being launched for Jennie Lynn Reed.  She was involved in the accident on highway 11 involving a car travelling in the wrong direction.  She has many injuries and is in hospital in Toronto. Please help out if you can.

Allison has received 200 emails of support for the AquaTheatre project! These include more than 15 muralists and 25 bands.  She has met with the city.  The May 3 meeting will discuss the project and a core committee will be selected from this group to plan for the AquaTheatre.

Thanks to Karen for agreeing to look after setting up the room for the cocktail meeting each week and to Mark for volunteering to put everything away.  You guys are awesome!

Lobsterfest tickets are selling very quickly. If you want them, don't delay or they may not be available. Still looking for assistance!  Please see Cliff if you can help.

The Train will open the weekend before Canada Day! Let summer begin! The train committee will be meeting immediately following the lunch and cocktail meetings.

AquaTheatre - we've gotten some great coverage on this!  Allison Braun has agreed to chair the committee and Brian Bondy will co-chair.  Lots of non-Rotary people will also participate - should be a great group to get things organized.  Check in with Allison, Brian or Allan if you want to be involved.

Sergeant At Arms and Other Club Fines

Sergeant at Arms (Noon Group)

Sergeant Brian  paid his AWOL fine for last week

Whole table except guests were late

Tony T for being a Bruins fan.

Randy Klein for being really late

Birthday Table

CLIFF HAD A HUGE ISSUE WITH A FINE THAT BRIAN LEVIED. HE BELIEVED IT INFRINGED ON THE 4 WAY TEST: IS IT BENEFCIAL FOR ALL! APPARENTLY IT GENERATED A LARGE AMOUNT OF SMALL CHANGE AND CLIFF HAD TO ROLL IT ALL! THIS MAY GO TO THE SUPREME COURT FOR A RULING

Fines from the Cocktail Group

Heather tracked down Deane to pay up for last week's faux pas of admitting, in public that he wears a Fanny Pack.

Deane successfully defended his wearing of a fanny pack, because his, was not just any fanny pack, but a designer variety fanny pack.
Afternoon delight
Family and Friends Happiness:
Angela was thankful for the airtime, happy that her son was in a tournament, and that they wisely decided against driving to it on Sunday and she was happy for the guest speakers.

Heather was happy to be back and (I am quoting here because it was so lovely) "thanks for sticking with me when I couldn't stick with you."

Sarah-Jane is thankful that Darlene looked after speakers for so long (the rest of us are happy for Darlene and now for Sarah-Jane) and for Angela doing all the invoicing, for Andrew for offering Sarah-Jane more work and for Terri for allowing her to dog sit Oliver.

Tammy was happy for Allan's suggestion which led to more home improvement work for her; and for an impromptu storm party.

Allison was happy to be back (Allison we are SOOO glad you are back, but couldn't you have brought us some better weather?)

Our guest from Peak Performance even paid a buck to show their happiness for being here.

Jack Nolan expectant grand father of 2

Random (and a bit weird) happiness (and other emotions):

Nancy W. Used Ma Bell a lot this weekend.

Deane was disappointed to have missed the Lake Country tradition of recognizing Tiny Tim's Birthday (really Deane?)

Scott paid a buck for clarification: Since Mark just bragged (and I don't think he paid a buck for it) about his new $800 progressive lenses glasses, why did he still have a second pair of glasses stuck in his shirt?

Chris was happy to be happy (I don't even think she takes drugs for that!)

Andrew was happy he remembered not to wear outlandish socks as they are often mocked!

In spite of the weather, there was a tremendous amount of happiness in the room!

Allan was happy that with winter being over, the Perch Festival would be kicked off on Friday!

Deanna was happy that the storm gave her the opportunity to spend time with friends.

Randy -Successful home show

Didn't I tell you there would be dancing? Lots of happiness about Rotary Weekend.  Surprisingly, none of it related to the excellent speakers and great information.  Not even to the food!  Yes - Dancing and wine!

Terri appreciated Sarah-Jane looking after Oliver and Andrew for the really great wine.

Andrew (the purchaser of wine) was happy that his dancing skills passed the President Elect skills test.

Anne was happy that Andrew's moves improved with wine.

Anne and Marilyn were happy about attending Rotary weekend.
