We watched a video on the 30th Anniversary of Polio from Bill Gates.  The Video was produced in 2011 however the message is still amazing.  The technical changes in the vaccine have doubled the effectiveness and is now being distributed world-wide.  The difference between Polio and small pocks is Polio cannot be seen and it takes multiple doses to be effective, Polio early days saw 4 billion cases while small pocks had 500 million.  Experts in 2011 felt Polio would not be eradicated but could be controlled...this did not sit well with exceptional volunteer groups, like Rotary International,  Experts today predict the total eradication of Polio by 2018.
