Sargeant at Arms / HappyBucks

Sargeant at arms Ralph Cipolla, still on duty and ready with his not so little list. First was your bulletin editor for taking creative license and inventing an imaginary rotarian named Leslie, so that deserved a buck , no argument here. Then he stretches his authority a little by fining Anne for not saying the sargent is beautiful. ( you know what they say about absolute power ) . Then back to more justifiable crimes we have Angela for starting the meeting late , Martin for winning 50/50 ( but no extra buck for calling Bingo) Doug for second prize, Garnet for not minding if Pat were to take her vacation without him, Nancy for having too much fun on her Pacific cruise and not inviting Ralph, John for not wearing his badge , Marilyn for losing her badge and finally a warning to Deb that she is on his radar for a fine next week. Does this mean we have Ralph for April as well or is this an April fools joke. Whoever our sargent is, he will probably capitalise on April 1st somehow

Happy Bucks were led of by Roman who celebrates retirement with a trip to Dominican, and another buck for getting away with something your editor missed.Martin was happy because his wife won a trip to Bahamas and I expect also because she is taking Martin with her, Nancy happy of course with her vacation relaxing and uneventful and Deb happy to have yours truly so willing to serve where needed and for being an all round nice fellow .

Finally and most notably, Ralph was happy to announce that he had heard on CNN that Polio had been eradicated in India and this was due to the work of Rotary International
