We enjoyed our first meeting of the summer at the Bondy's home. Thanks Megan and Brian!

 

This will be my last bulletin (although I may occasionally offer to fill in.) Sandra Smith has graciously offered to take over the bulletin for the evening crowd. Thanks Sandra!

 

 

No visitors today, although some regular lunch attendees joined us either for the whole meeting or came later to participate in planning Girls' Night Out.

Lots of Aqua theatre events, but they were announced before I got pen and paper - sorry - Allison or Allan can let you know. Please offer to be involved if you are able.

 

 

Does anyone ever stay home?

Anne is heading to the wilderness to kayak and camp with her brother for a week.

Diane and Paul went to Manitoulin Island and cruised home on the Chi Chi Man

 

Sharon had a trip to Port Huron and stayed in an awesome B&B in Grand Bend

 

Grant figured the trip to the Bondy's was amazing and thanked them (as we all did!) for letting us share their awesome home and yard.

 

On Non-travel activities

 

Sandra is pretty excited about her Son's apprenticeship to become and electrician!

Sandra was happy about running her personal best 5 k time that morning.

 

Deena was happy to have moved into her cozy rental home and happy to have enjoyed some retail therapy with Megan.

 

Andrew sincerely offered his thanks to President Anne for a great year!

 

 

We discussed:

- Lets try to do a better job of occasionally attending a lunch meeting or doing more things that get the two groups together.

- Andrew is going to bring back Rotary 101

- Everyone would like more classification speeches - suggest that longer serving members be invited to do a classification speech at the cocktail meeting because we don't know them as well as we would like to.

- Darlene let us know that Club Business will only be held every second month; alternating with Committees.

- Next meeting is July 3rd. Andrew will be discussing "Be the Inspiration" where he will fill us in on club goals.
