June 18, 1917 Birthday of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. From its humble beginnings from its first donation of $26.50 proceeds from the Kansas City convention. Today, the foundation has a net worth of over a half billion U.S. dollars.

Since 1947 the Foundation has spent over a U.S. $500 million on its programs. The object of the Foundation “The achievement of world understanding & peace through international humanitarian and educational programs”.

club dues also will be going up slightly in the next 5 years

Carl mentioned that we as members can suggest change to our clubs policies he gave the example of freebies given to past governors for attending the summit on the Clubs expense might be looked at.
