This Tuesday is Charter Night (no regular meeting).
Charter Night Tuesday Dec. 9
Every year we mark our club’s anniversary with a Charter Night event. This year, in honour of the club’s 80th anniversary, the event theme is ‘80s Christmas!
As a reminder, there has been a change in venue from the original plan and we will be holding Charter Night at Creative Nomad.
Note that there is no regular meeting this Tuesday, and for all who purchased tickets Charter Night will begin at 6:00 p.m. Those attending are encouraged (but not required) to dress up in 1980’s-inspired holiday attire and bring a donation of winter clothing or individually packaged snacks for the Lighthouse.

December 2 was our First Tuesday meeting. We heard updates from the board and committees. Some of the highlights included:
Car Lottery will go ahead this year and will be chaired by Jack with Dale as co-chair. Proceeds will go to RVH
Nancy is organizing Salvation Army Kettle volunteers and has circulated a signup sheet.
Jennifer Hiltz provided an update on the Vocational Service Awards.
Tony will be hosting a Euchre Tournament on January 24
We also engaged in a strategic planning exercise, led by Lois and the strategic plan committee.
As part of our 80 Years of Giving Holiday Campaign, we collected mugs and toiletries for Green Haven Women’s Shelter. As well, we collected the remainder of the food donations from those who couldn’t made last week’s meeting. Thank you to Dale for leading this effort and for dropping off our donation to the Sharing Place!
December 16- “Moose Milk”- a festive celebration at Creative Nomad Studios
While enjoying our Moose Milk tradition, we’ll be writing Christmas Cards to be distributed to seniors at Hillcrest Lodge. Each member is asked to write about three cards. Anyone who has blank cards to donate can contact Dale before December 10
