Lobster Fest is coming up fast , a dozen tickets left but all outstanding sales money should be brought to lunch on May 9th

Car raffle ticket sales kick off at Lobster fest 2017 The new Ford Mustang courtesy of Thor motors will be there for display. The draw will be held at the 2018 Lobster Fest

Barrie Club , , hopes at least a few members of our club will join them on May 11th at the Holiday Inn , Barrie for their clubs 75th anniversary. There will be a talk by the Mallory expedition from Barrie which climbed mount Everest in 2008. It would be a special honour to have representation there from our club as it was the Orillia club that sponsored the Barrie club

Nancy announced that the train work is still on for the weekend of May 13th. Rick Rimkey and some of his employees arranged for a backhoe to help out but we will need more manpower to get the job done.

Davis Shaw is sarg at arms and determined that every good Rotarian should be in tune with the world of sports gave the room a quiz on current events in hockey, baseball and basketball. tables that answered correctly earned partial exemption from fines and everyone else paid. It may be good advice to check the sports pages before you come to lunch on May 9th.

Tom was happy to have been passed over for a 50/50 fine , Jane happy with a recent trip to La la land, and also looking forward to serving McFood at McDonalds to raise money for Ronald McDonald house. Julie made everyone else happy with her story of running late to get to rotary lunch and jumped in the wrong car only to find an elderly man looking back her. Chad was also happy to have had a successful visit recently to Winnipeg.
