At last week's meeting, we inducted Cheryl Tong as a new member-Welcome Cheryl! We also heard from Mariposa House Hospice (one of this year's Car Lottery charitable recipients) about the hospice's history and recent capital campaign and expansion project.
This Week:
This week's agenda will be jam packed. We have our District Governor-Drew Markham attending our meeting. We also will be presenting a cheque to RVH for the donation we made to their capital campaign, and Tony Telford will be providing a Lobsterfest update.
A reminder that our socials are now 5-5:30pm with the meeting starting at 5:30pm. No virtual meeting option available for the month of July.

Important Reminders
Car Lottery sales are ongoing, Rotarians or members of their immediate household cannot purchase tickets, however you can share and promote the link: Orillia Car Lottery | Win a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited Club volunteers will be needed to sell tickets at Pirate Party at the Port of Orillia on Sept 5 and 6 (Labour day weekend).
Club volunteers will also be needed to help with the Walk the Plank Fundraiser at that same event-more to come.
Classic and Custom Car Show-August 22nd, volunteers still needed for day of event duties.
Rotary Golf Classic-Tuesday August 25th in the afternoon at Bonaire, this will replace our regular club meeting that week, more details to come.
